The Civil Guard seized over 40,000 pairs of counterfeit sunglasses in Barcelona, Spain. The operation resulted in the detention of four people, suspected of being part of a network dedicated to counterfeiting and selling luxury goods. The seized merchandise is valued at 1.3 million euros, a value calculated based on the market price of the original products. The counterfeit sunglasses were sold as if they were recognized luxury brands, deceiving consumers who intended to purchase original products.
