Catarina Sobral wins National Illustration Award with "As pessoas são esquisitas"

Illustrator Catarina Sobral was distinguished with the National Illustration Award for the work "As pessoas são esquisitas". The announcement was made by the Directorate-General for Books, Archives and Libraries (DGLAB).

The winning book has text by Victor D.O. Santos and was published by Orfeu Negro. This edition thus brings together Sobral's illustration with Santos's writing in a publishing collaboration.

The National Illustration Award annually recognizes works by Portuguese authors or authors based in Portugal that stand out for their artistic quality and innovation in the field of book illustration.

Póvoa na Moda returns Saturday night to Passeio Alegre
