The Essential NOW channel was the audience leader during the extended broadcast period between 19:00 and 19:30, with 130,400 viewers and an average of 3.2% share during that time slot. The featured broadcast was about coverage of the Nepal tragedy.

The competition's results were significantly lower. SIC Notícias failed to reach 2% share, having recorded only 78,400 people watching the channel during the same period.

CNN Portugal came in last place among the three channels, with just 59,200 viewers and 1.5% share between 19:00 and 19:30.
