Jasmim: "Geography influences our sound"

Observador28 August 2026 at 17:16

Musician Jasmim talked about the influence of geography on his sound, explaining that the tranquility of the mountains shapes his music. The artist believes that the natural environment where he lives and creates has a direct impact on the way he composes and produces his work.

Jasmim presented his new single "Caracol", which reflects this connection with the territory. The music incorporates influences from the physical space where it was created, resulting in a sound that according to the artist is intrinsically linked to the place.

Regarding his creative process, Jasmim revealed that the lyrics always come first when he composes. This working method contrasts with the approach of other artists who start with the melody or the musical production.
