The municipal council of Onda claimed this Friday the creation of a Court of First Instance in the municipality. Mayor Carmina Ballester conveyed this request to the Counselor of Justice, Transparency and Participation, Nuria Martínez Sanchis, during a meeting held in the town.
The municipality of Onda currently has 26,190 inhabitants and more than 12 million square meters of industrial land, which justifies the need to have its own judicial services.
With the creation of this court, the municipal council aims to improve judicial attention to the citizens of Onda and contribute to decongest the judicial district of Nules, where currently the inhabitants of the municipality have to go to resolve first instance judicial matters.
