Ventura confirms motion of censure against the Government next week if Luís Neves remains as minister

Chega, led by Ventura, confirmed that it will proceed with a motion of censure against the Government next Tuesday, September 1, if Luís Neves remains in the position of Minister of Internal Administration. The decision comes as a direct response to Luís Neves' continuation in the executive, which has been the target of criticism from the party. Ventura formally threatened with this motion if the minister is not replaced, using it as a political pressure tool. The far-right party thus takes advantage of the situation to mark its position against the Government, raising the tone of the political conflict surrounding the minister's appointment.
