Rio's Military Police to Get New Dog Battalion

Rio de Janeiro's Military Police will get a new Canine Operations Battalion (BAC). The corporation will have its own new headquarters to house its canine unit.

The new battalion will be built in the neighborhood of Ramos, on a 12,500 square meter plot of land. The built area of the project will be approximately 8,000 square meters.

The Canine Operations Battalion is responsible for operations involving trained dogs from Rio's Military Police, used in various public security actions.
