September is the month dedicated to bread, honey, folklore and crafts in the municipality of Vila Nova de Paiva, in the district of Viseu. During this period, the region organizes various cultural and traditional events that celebrate the local heritage.

The parish of Vila Cova à Coelheira is one of the promoters of these festivities, simultaneously holding the 10th Bread Festival and the 41st Folklore Festival. These events bring together gastronomic and cultural traditions in a celebration that marks the community's calendar.

In turn, the village of Pendilhe organizes the 10th edition of the Honey and Crafts Fair, which this year reaches a decade of existence. The fair highlights local products and the work of artisans in the region.

Both events demonstrate the commitment of the parishes of Vila Nova de Paiva to the preservation and promotion of local traditions, attracting both local residents and visitors.
