Monobloco will host the second edition of Baile da Música Brasileira, which will have eight free nights at Brava Arena Jockey, in Gávea. The event takes place on Wednesdays, from November 4 to December 23, bringing together rhythms from different regions of the country and various guest artists.

Each week, the programming will feature a different repertoire, covering genres such as frevo, jongo, maracatu, carimbó, samba, samba de roda, guitarrada, coco, forró, axé, xote, baião and choro. DJs also participate in the nights, leading the audience through hits and classics of Brazilian regional music.

Monobloco emerged in 2000 from a workshop to teach percussion. After the first year, the group held its first parade in Rio and began operating officially as a bloco. The mixing of genres became one of the group's trademarks over the years.
