Marco Bezzecchi dominated Friday's practice at Motorland, Aragón, by achieving a time of 1:45.455, demonstrating a competitive pace that allowed him to surpass six-time champion Marc Márquez at his talisman circuit.
The Italian rider also managed to beat the track record that had belonged to Márquez since 2025, a remarkable feat that showed Bezzecchi's ability to challenge the Spanish rider's dominance on the circuits where he is strongest.
Márquez, known for his number 93, did not give up easily and managed to break the record during the same Friday session, highlighting the close battle between the two riders for the best time.
This kind of performance at Motorland confirms that, despite Márquez appearing unbeatable at certain circuits, there are high-level rivals like Bezzecchi who can significantly complicate things for him.
