Joana Silva Lopes, winemaker at Lobo de Vasconcellos Wines, warned about the need for grape producers to focus on the destination of their production. According to the winemaker, continuing to produce grapes without considering where they will be commercialized is not sustainable for the producer.
The expert highlighted the unsustainability of the annual economic model currently practiced in the sector. This position arises in the context of a reflection on the challenges faced by wine and grape producers in managing their productive activities.
