Nine searches in Sintra end with six arrested and 2,500 doses seized

The Judicial Police carried out nine searches in Sintra as part of a drug trafficking investigation. The operation took place simultaneously in different locations across the municipality.

As a result of the searches, six people suspected of involvement in the criminal activity were arrested. The authorities point to a drug trafficking network operating in the Sintra area.

The authorities seized approximately 2,500 doses of Stol substance, a type of synthetic drug. The estimated value on the black market exceeds 12,000 euros.

The operation involved elements from the Southern Directorate of the Judicial Police and counted on the support of local authorities to execute the search warrants.
