The Municipal Water and Sanitation Services of Almada (SMAS) will lift on Monday the alert situation that was in force due to water supply failures in the city. The municipality informed that the current situation presents "greater tranquility" regarding the problems that had been occurring. The SMAS also guaranteed that the water supplied to the population maintains the necessary quality for consumption. This decision marks the end of a contingency period that affected the residents of Almada.
