Even though banned by TRE, Garotinho launches free electoral advertising on radio

Candidates for governor of Rio de Janeiro and for the Senate began their free electoral radio time this Friday (28), with emphasis on Anthony Garotinho (Republicanos), who launched his program even after losing the right to the benefit by decision of the Regional Electoral Court. In the race for governor, Garotinho, Eduardo Paes, Douglas Ruas and William Siri presented different proposals to voters, focusing on public security, health, transportation and job creation. CBN reached out to Garotinho's campaign and TRE-RJ for comments.
The regional secretary for Education, Culture and Sports of the Azores, Sofia Ribeiro, announced that the region reached the highest ever number of students in higher education, highlighting the importance of this milestone for the educational development of the archipelago.
