The number of dead in Nepal continues to increase, having exceeded five hundred victims. There are still about a thousand missing people, among whom three Portuguese citizens. Two Portuguese who were also missing have meanwhile been found alive.
On the ground, experts warn of the growing risk of new floods, landslides and avalanches. These threats remain active and complicate rescue operations and humanitarian aid in the country.
