Commercial flights in the European Union grow 3.8% in 2025

Commercial flights in the European Union grew 3.8% in 2025. This growth represents a significant increase in the European aviation sector in the period analyzed.

According to Eurostat data, the total number of commercial flights registered was 6.9 million. This value contrasts with the 6.7 million flights counted in the previous year.

The difference between the two years corresponds to approximately 200,000 additional flights. The increase reflects a trend of recovery and growth of air activity in the European Union.
