Forbes Brasil revealed that five new names debut on the Forbes Brazilian Billionaires 2026 list, which is in its 13th edition. The publication identified 255 people with wealth above R$ 1 billion, representing 1.96% of the members of the ranking. Altogether, the Brazilian billionaires in the 2026 edition sum R$ 1.86 trillion in wealth.
The newcomers are Luana Lopes Lara, Rosangela Maggi Schmidt, Ari de Sá Cavalcante Neto and family, Carlos Moche Dayan and Salim Dayan. Together, they accumulate fortunes of R$ 25 billion, helping to renew a ranking marked by large family fortunes and businesspeople who built wealth over decades.
The wealth of the newcomers is linked to different sectors of the economy, including technology, prediction markets, agribusiness, education, and the financial system. The newcomers appear in a predominantly positive year for the largest fortunes in the country.
