Forbes Brasil published the 13th edition of the Forbes Brazilian Billionaires 2026 list, identifying 255 people with wealth above R$ 1 billion. Together, these billionaires accumulate a total wealth of R$ 1.86 trillion, representing 1.96% of the 255 members of the ranking. This year's edition is predominantly positive for the country's largest fortunes.

Five names appear as debutants on the list, representing new entrants to the ranking. They are: Luana Lopes Lara, Rosangela Maggi Schmidt, Ari de Sá Cavalcante Neto and family, Carlos Moche Dayan, and Salim Dayan. This group of newcomers accumulates fortunes totaling R$ 25 billion, helping to renew a ranking marked by large family fortunes and those of entrepreneurs who built wealth over decades.

The debutants' wealth is tied to different sectors of the Brazilian economy, including technology and prediction markets, agribusiness, education, and the financial system. The diversity of sectors reflects the breadth of the national economy and the different sources of wealth generation among the new billionaires.
