The Portuguese Government established rules for granting 500,000 euro support to the agriculture and fisheries sector, in a measure aimed at mitigating the effects of rising fuel prices.
The subsidy is granted individually per vehicle, meaning each eligible vehicle is entitled to a specific support under this emergency measure.
Farmers and fishermen interested in benefiting from this support must submit their applications through an electronic form, which will be made available for this purpose.
The management and administration of the application process is the responsibility of the Institute for the Financing of Agriculture and Fisheries, the body responsible for implementing this support initiative for the primary sector.
