Man identified as CV's main 'war puller' is arrested in Caxias after exchange of gunfire with police

Luiz Felipe Gomes da Silva, known as Simba and identified as the main "war puller" of the Red Command, was arrested on Thursday in Duque de Caxias, in Baixada Fluminense, after exchanging gunfire with officers during an integrated operation of the 59th, 60th, and 66th police stations, in addition to the 15th BPM. When approached on President Kennedy Avenue, he reacted by firing at the agents, who returned fire without leaving anyone injured. After a chase, Simba was caught at the intersection with Francisca Thomé Street, where a pistol, magazines, and a grenade were seized.
