Man identified as CV's main 'war puller' is arrested in Caxias after exchange of gunfire with police

Luiz Felipe Gomes da Silva, known as Simba, was arrested on Thursday in Duque de Caxias, in Baixada Fluminense. He was identified as the main "war puller" of the Red Command. When he was approached by civil and military police officers, he reacted by shooting at the agents, who returned fire. No one was injured during the exchange of gunfire.

After a chase, Simba was captured at the intersection of President Kennedy Avenue with Francisca Thomé Street. During the operation, a pistol, magazines, and a grenade were seized. The action involved teams from the 59th DP, 60th DP, 66th DP, and the 15th BPM, which were conducting an integrated operation in the Mangueirinha Complex.
