The Portugal 4×4 Trial Championship takes place in Santa Maria da Feira, organized by the Clube Trilhos do Norte, with the support of the local Municipality and Soluções TT Clube, and under the auspices of the Portuguese Automobile and Karting Federation. This stage marks the region's reunion with one of its most emblematic sports disciplines.
The event takes place in Mata da Carvalhosa, on a 10-kilometer track linking the Sanfins football field to the CD Feirense Sports Complex. Participants will have to overcome seven trial zones with radical obstacles, including climbs and descents on dirt and rock, deep water and mud zones, and technical passages that will require extreme skill from drivers and navigators.
The program starts on Saturday, September 12, with administrative and technical checks at the Sanfins football field. After lunch, the first stage takes place with three hours of competition. On Sunday, September 13, the event continues in the early afternoon with the decisive second stage. The operational center, including paddock, boxes, parc fermé and secretariat, will be centralized in Sanfins.
The public will have access to safe areas with excellent visibility to follow the event, also having a catering area, music and socializing spaces.
Organizada pelo Clube Trilhos do Norte, com o apoio do Município de Santa Maria da Feira e do Soluções TT Clube, e sob a égide da Federação Portuguesa de Automobilismo e Karting, esta etapa marca o reencontro da região com uma das suas modalidades desportivas mais emblemáticas.
Inserida na Mata da Carvalhosa, a pista conta com uma extensão de 10 quilómetros, ligando o campo de futebol de Sanfins ao Complexo Desportivo do CD Feirense.
Ao todo, os participantes terão de superar sete zonas de triais com obstáculos radicais, incluindo subidas e descidas impressionantes em terra e rocha, zonas profundas de água e lama, e passagens técnicas que exigirão perícia extrema por parte dos pilotos e navegadores.
O programa desportivo arranca bem cedo, na manhã de sábado [12 de setembro], com a realização das verificações administrativas e técnicas no campo de futebol de Sanfins. Logo após o período do almoço, inicia-se a primeira etapa da prova, onde os participantes vão desfrutar de três horas de pura competição e resistência. No domingo [13 de setembro], a prova continua ao início da tarde com o arranque da decisiva segunda etapa.
Todo o centro operacional do evento engloba a paddock, boxes, parque fechado e secretariado, ficará centralizado no campo de futebol de Sanfins, enquanto a outra grande zona de obstáculos estará concentrada no Complexo Desportivo do Feirense.
O público terá acesso a áreas seguras e com excelente visibilidade para acompanhar de perto cada manobra radical, contando ainda com uma zona de restauração, música e espaços de convívio para garantir a animação fora da pista.
