The Improvable Walkers are organizing a walk of approximately nine kilometres through the parish of Vermil, in the municipality of Guimarães. The activity is scheduled to start at 09:00 at the Church of Vermil, and is expected to continue until 13:00.
The initiative aims to provide participants with a morning of outdoor activity, inviting them to discover different elements of the landscape and heritage of the parish of Vermil in a relaxed way.
Beyond the walking route, the challenge seeks to promote fellowship among participants and strengthen the community's connection to the territory where they live. The route was designed to be completed in a group, with the organizers appealing to participants to prepare appropriate footwear.
Participation is free, but occurs under each participant's responsibility. The event is promoted by the Improvable Walkers group, which has already carried out other walks through different parts of the Guimarães municipality.
Depois de terem passado por diferentes pontos do concelho, os Caminhantes Improváveis propõem agora um percurso de cerca de nove quilómetros, com início marcado para as 09h00, junto à Igreja de Vermil. A caminhada deverá decorrer até às 13h00.
A iniciativa pretende proporcionar uma manhã de atividade ao ar livre, convidando os participantes a conhecer, de forma descontraída e próxima, diferentes elementos da paisagem e do património da freguesia. Mais do que uma caminhada, o desafio passa também por promover o convívio e reforçar a ligação da comunidade ao território onde vive.
Com um percurso pensado para ser feito em grupo, a organização deixa o convite para que os participantes preparem o calçado e se juntem a mais uma jornada dos Caminhantes Improváveis.
A participação é gratuita, sendo a caminhada realizada à responsabilidade de cada participante.
