Several survivors rescued after being trapped in tunnel following Nepal flood

The Nepalese Navy is working to rescue survivors who were trapped in a hydroelectric tunnel after the massive flooding that occurred on Wednesday. The incident happened in a border zone between northern Nepal and southwest Tibet, in southwest China.

Nepal Police raised on Friday the death toll to 477 as a consequence of the flooding. The country's authorities reported having rescued or assisted more than 3,200 people.
