The Minister of Finance, Fernando Medina, assured that the subsidy funds from the Recovery and Resilience Plan will be used in full. The official expressed confidence in the complete execution of this component of the European program.

However, the Government admits the possibility of last-minute surprises in the case of loans. This is one of the PRR components that may face setbacks in its execution.

The expectation of the Portuguese Government is that Portugal will receive the full financial envelope provided for in the PRR, in the amount of 21,905 million euros. This amount includes both subsidy and loan funds.
