Dolly storm forms in the Atlantic. Does the name have to do with Dolly Parton's death?

Tropical storm Dolly formed in the Atlantic Ocean and is heading towards the Leeward Islands, in the northeast Caribbean, this weekend. The storm's name has no relation to the death of singer Dolly Parton, which occurred last Tuesday at age 80 – it's a big coincidence. Storm systems are named according to World Meteorological Organization procedures, with lists reused every six years, following alphabetical order and alternating between male and female names. The Atlantic hurricane season began in June with Arthur and continued in July with Bertha and Cristobal.
