With bus network under study, STCP presents restructuring proposal in 2027

The new chairman of STCP's board of directors, Luís Osório, revealed in an interview with PÚBLICO the plans for restructuring the transport network in Porto. The transport company is studying its bus network and expects to present a concrete reorganization proposal in 2027.

Luís Osório stated he wants to "optimize" the organization of transport routes in the city of Porto, seeking greater efficiency in managing the existing network. The goal is to improve coverage and connectivity between different areas of the city.

In addition to operational optimization, the chairman of the board expressed the intention to make buses more appealing to passengers. This approach aims to increase the attractiveness of public transport as an alternative to using private vehicles.
