Wine. Azores Expect a Normal Production Year and Quality

The Wine and Vineyard Institute forecasts for the Azores a wine production of 600 to 700 tonnes with classification aptitude. This estimate positions 2026 as a normal production year for the region.

In contrast, 2025 was an exceptional production year for the Azores in the wine sector. The forecast for the current year indicates a return to production levels considered usual for the region.
