Commercial flights in the EU rise almost 4% to 6.9 million in 2025

The commercial flights registered in the European Union increased by 3.8% in 2025, totaling 6.9 million flights, according to Eurostat data published today. This value represents growth compared to the 6.7 million flights registered in the previous year.

The statistical body responsible for collecting EU data did not reveal additional information about the countries with the greatest contribution to this increase or about specific routes.
