This Friday (28) and until October 1st, the mandatory electoral propaganda on radio and television begins. On radio, the electoral programs, with 25 minutes each, will be broadcast in two time slots, Monday through Saturday: at 7am and at noon. Additionally, the stations are required to reserve 70 minutes per day, Monday through Sunday, between 5am and midnight, to air 30 and 60-second insertions.
Due to the rotation scheme, this Friday (28) the propaganda of candidates for governor, senator, and state deputy will be aired. The programs of presidential candidates and federal deputy debut only on Saturday.
Among the presidential candidates, Lula will have 5 minutes and 31 seconds of program; Bolsonaro, 4 minutes and 20 seconds; Ronaldo Caiado, 2 minutes and 2 seconds; and Augusto Cury, only 35 seconds.
Due to the performance clause requirements of the parties, candidates such as Romeu Zema, Renan Santos and others will not have space in the electoral programs or in the insertions destined for the parties.
