Largo de Santa Catarina hosts Gastronomic Showcase

The Gastronomic Showcase returns to Largo de Santa Catarina on August 28 and 29, operating from 12pm to midnight on both days. The event, organized by the Municipal Council of Viana do Castelo, celebrates the knowledge and flavors of Ribeira de Viana, promising musical entertainment, socializing, and typical gastronomy of that riverside area.

The showcase features seafood products, show cookings, and musical entertainment, constituting a suggestion for those seeking good gastronomy. The musical entertainment is provided by the Arco Iris group on Friday at 9:30pm, and by the OsA28 band on Saturday, also at 9:30pm.

This Gastronomic Showcase of Ribeira de Viana was born integrated into the project for the enhancement of Sea Villages, with the aim of presenting and promoting seafood and locally sourced gastronomic products.

With these initiatives, the goal is to better disseminate the cultural, natural, and heritage richness of this Sea Village, promoting the attraction potential and the interest in visiting the region.

Nos dias 28 e 29 de agosto, a Mostra Gastronómica está de regresso ao Largo de Santa Catarina para celebrar os saberes e sabores da Ribeira de Viana. A mostra acontece, nos dois dias, das 12h às 24h, prometendo animação musical, convívio e a típica gastronomia daquela zona ribeirinha.

Entre produtos do mar, show cookings, animação musical e boa gastronomia, a Mostra Gastronómica, organizada pela Câmara Municipal de Viana do Castelo, apresenta-se como uma sugestão imperdível. 

 Pelas 21h30 de sexta-feira, dia 28 de agosto, a música é assegurada pelo conjunto Arco Iris e, sábado, dia 29 de agosto, às 21h30, atua a banda OsA28.

Desde a sua origem, esta Mostra Gastronómica da Ribeira de Viana, que surgiu integrada no projeto de valorização das Aldeias de Mar, visa apresentar e promover os produtos gastronómicos do mar e de origem local.

Com estas iniciativas, pretende-se alcançar uma melhor divulgação da riqueza cultural, natural e património desta Aldeia de Mar, promovendo o potencial de atração e o interesse em visitar esta região.
