SAPO Notícias28 August 2026 at 09:27

S&P will release its assessment of Portugal's 'rating' this week. This rating agency will comment on the country's credit quality, which is an important indicator for investors and markets.

This announcement comes within the scope of an agenda dedicated to monitoring the banking sector and the financial system, which includes other events and relevant information for the sector throughout the week.

S&P's assessment is awaited with attention by the market, given the impact it may have on the perception of the risk associated with Portuguese debt and the country's financing conditions.
