The Capuchin Franciscans are promoting the 48th National Bible Week, from today to Sunday, at the Capuchin Bible Center in Fatima. The central theme of this biblical formation event is "Saint Francis and the Word of God", aiming to promote a deep reflection on Franciscan spirituality and its intimate and practical relationship with the Word of God.

The program includes various sessions over the three days. On Friday, the 28th, there are planned interventions on Saint Francis and the Word of God, presented by Fr. Manuel Rito Dias, and on Saint Francis in the biblical context of the Middle Ages, by Fr. Herculano Alves.

On Saturday, the 29th, various lectures take place, including topics such as exegesis and hermeneutics in the relationship between Saint Francis and the Bible, the Word of God in Saint Francis's Exhortations, and a reflection on creation and the environment. The day also includes an intervention on The Spirit of Assisi and a discussion panel moderated by Fr. Fernando Alberto.

On Sunday, the 30th, the session "Saint Francis Prophet of a New World" takes place, followed by a solemn Closing Eucharist, organized by the Liturgy Team. The event ends with a lunch and farewell.
