Trump said he sees no basis for the warnings that have been issued about a possible Russian threat to the alliance.

The Kremlin classified as "alarmist stories" the news from American media that suggested Russia could attack NATO. This position comes after a rare visit by the CIA director to Moscow, which raised alerts about Putin's intentions regarding the Western alliance.
