From festivals to samba circles, Rio has free programming with shows, exhibitions and activities at various locations

Rio de Janeiro offers a vast free programming for those who want to enjoy the end of the month without spending money. The National Mathematics Festival takes place at Marina da Glória, Saturday and Sunday, from 10am to 8pm, turning science into fun with games, immersive experiences, robots and virtual reality.

In Flamengo, Petrobras Futuros – Art and Technology presents exhibitions and shows that combine Brazilianness and technology. The duo from Pará Uaná System and the show "Donas do baile" are on today's programming, starting at 8:15pm, with tickets available through Sympla.

At Sala Nelson Pereira dos Santos, in Niterói, singer Sonia Santos celebrates 60 years of career with the show "O samba mandou me chamar", also this Friday, with free entry upon ticket withdrawal through Sympla.

The city also has gospel, samba, cinema, coffee, guided tours, music and attractions for the family spread across various locations, completing a diverse cultural programming for all audiences.

The program includes musical performances, exhibitions, theater, workshops, the Língua Terra Festival, the XI Serenata de Fado de Coimbra, the premiere of a community opera, and the Centenary Parade, with free activities and others with tickets at varied prices.
