The National Bank for Economic and Social Development (BNDES) launched this Friday (28) its first call for proposals to select projects aimed at promoting, protecting, and guaranteeing the rights of the elderly. This is an initiative considered unprecedented by the bank.

BNDES may allocate up to R$ 15 million to the selected initiatives. The resources will come from incentivized donations from the Elderly Rights Funds.

The call for proposals seeks projects that aim to promote, protect, and guarantee the rights of the elderly, covering various areas of action aimed at this age group.
