The GNR arrested in Bustos, Oliveira do Bairro, a 78-year-old man for illegal possession of arms. The arrest occurred as a result of the execution of a home search warrant in the context of a domestic violence process.
During the search, the authorities seized a shotgun, an air pressure rifle, and a wooden club that were in the individual's possession.
The detainee was made a defendant and subjected to the precautionary measure of identity and residence term, a measure that obliges the suspect to remain identified and residing at his address.
The facts were communicated to the Judicial Court of Águeda, within the scope of the domestic violence process that was under investigation.

“Na sequência do cumprimento de um mandado de busca domiciliária no âmbito de processo de violência doméstica”, a Guarda encontrou na por posse do homem uma caçadeira, espingarda de pressão de ar e uma moca de madeira, que foram de imediato apreendidas.
“O detido foi constituído arguido e sujeito à aplicação da medida de coação de termo de identidade e residência, tendo os factos sido comunicados ao Tribunal Judicial de Águeda no âmbito do processo de violência doméstica em investigação”, refere ainda a nota informativa.
