André Marques, actor and presenter, has been living for about a year on a farm inherited from his father, Otto, who died in May 2024, at age 73. The rural property is located in Cachoeiras de Macacu, in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, and was nicknamed "Recanto do Marques" by the artist.
Following his father's death, André embarked on the journey of restructuring the entire farm, turning it into a retreat, home, and sanctuary for rescued animals. The actor has been renovating the property to create a space where he can plant, raise his animals, and host friends.
The renovation began with the main house, which now features new lighting, rustic furniture, and a common area. The bathroom was also renovated and features a sink made from the trunk of a eucalyptus tree, which has become the actor's current pride.
