On Friday, August 28, several statistical agencies will release important economic data. In Portugal, the National Statistics Institute (INE) will publish the Turnover, Employment, Wages and Hours Worked Index in Commerce for July, as well as the Business and Consumer Confidence Surveys for August.
At the European level, Eurostat will present the Economic Confidence indicator and the results of the Business and Consumer Surveys for August. In Germany, Destatis will release July employment figures, while in France, INSEE will publish the provisional Consumer Price Index data for August, the updated quarterly national accounts for Q2 and employment estimates for the same period.
In the African context, Cabo Verde will have relevant publications, with INE launching the Household Confidence survey and the Services Sector Activity indicator, both for Q2.
In Brazil, IBGE will publish the producer price index for extractive and manufacturing industries for July, as well as population estimates for 2026.
