After President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva's (PT) interview on TV Globo on Thursday night, Bolsonaro supporters began sharing photographs of the leftist with lobbyist Roberta Luchsinger. The images were widely disseminated on social media as a response to the statements made by Lula during the interview.

Roberta Luchsinger and Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, known as Lulinha, the president's eldest son, are under investigation by the Federal Police for influence peddling. The lobbyist is a friend of Lulinha and appears in several photographs alongside the president.

When questioned about the accusations against his heir during the interview, Lula stated that he was "never close" to Luchsinger and that he never met with the lobbyist.

Senator Flavio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ), Lula's main adversary in the race for reelection, was among those who criticized the president's position. In a post on social media with two photos of his rival alongside the lobbyist, Bolsonaro wrote: "Lying is all he knows."
