Traffic restricted on EN 368 between Tapada and Alpiarça starting Monday

Between Tapada and Alpiarça, the National Road will have restrictions from Monday onwards due to maintenance work including road, ditch and shoulder cleaning. The intervention, expected to last about 15 days, may cause localized changes in traffic, with temporary traffic lights being installed. The Municipality of Alpiarça recommends that drivers exercise extra caution, respect the signage and moderate their speed in the work zone.

Gouveia – Rescue of weakened bird of prey

The Territorial Command of Guarda, through the SEPNA of the Gouveia Detachment, collected a bird of prey of the booted eagle species that was found weakened in the industrial zone of Gouveia by a citizen. The animal was delivered to the Center for Ecology, Recovery and Surveillance of Wild Animals (CERVAS), where it will receive the necessary care for later return to its natural habitat. The GNR appeals to the population to report situations of injured or weakened wild animals through the SOS Environment and Territory Line.
