A study by researchers from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, published in the journal JAMA Network Open, found that offspring of centenarians tend to live longer and have fewer cardiovascular diseases. The research, the largest ever conducted with descendants of centenarians, reinforces evidence that exceptional longevity and healthy aging are hereditary, suggesting that inherited biological factors may help explain these advantages beyond lifestyle.
