The AI tool analyzed the images during the surgical intervention and guided the surgeons in identifying hidden blood vessels and nerves, allowing for the safe removal of as much of the brain tumor as possible.

Artificial intelligence, inclusion and new ways of reading under debate at the IX Encontro Leituras

The School and Municipal Library Network of Seia promotes, on September 4th and 5th, at the Municipal House of Culture of Seia, the 9th edition of the Reading Encounters, under the theme "Leitur@s: Between pages, pixels and people". The two-day event includes panels and workshops on artificial intelligence, multiliteracies, interdisciplinarity, inclusion and human rights, with interventions by Ana Paula Ferreira, Jorge Borges, Mariana Abreu Loureiro, Rita Sineiro, Luís Osório and Alfredo Leite.
