Two people die in fire in Rio's North Zone; ten injured

Two people died and another 10 were injured in a fire that hit a residential building on Rua Bonfim, in São Cristóvão, in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, on Wednesday night (26). The building also housed a tire shop, whose material may have worsened the flames. About 50 firefighters and 20 vehicles from nine fire stations were mobilized to fight the fire and rescue the victims. Two men died at the scene, while the injured were taken to different hospitals in the city. Teams are still working on the aftermath and cooling of the site to allow the forensic team to enter.
