Family and friends in the last farewell to military man Pedro Gonçalves who died after being run over on the A1

Family and friends said their goodbyes this Tuesday to military officer Pedro Gonçalves, 22 years old, who was run over and killed on the A1 motorway, near the Mealhada service area, while trying to help a truck driver in distress. In the same accident, Francisco Oliveira, 21 years old, also lost his life.

Driver of hit-and-run in Albufeira remanded in custody

The 35-year-old driver who ran over 16 people in the Oura area, in Albufeira, was placed in preventive detention after judicial interrogation.
