Felling of a tree for safety reasons

The Municipality of Guimarães announced the felling of a tree on August 28 at 8:00 AM, after it suffered irreversible structural damage caused by a road collision involving a heavy vehicle. The crown rupture and the tearing of support tissues permanently compromised the stability of the specimen, representing a risk to the safety of citizens on a street with constant traffic. The tree will be replaced after felling, and all tree removal decisions are technically justified.
