FDA approved on Wednesday (26) daraxonrasib, a drug manufactured by Revolution Medicines that will be sold as Rasonque, the first treatment to substantially prolong the life of patients with advanced pancreatic cancer, doubling survival time. The medication is taken in the form of two tablets per day and represents a milestone in the treatment of one of the most lethal diseases in medicine, generating great enthusiasm among specialists and patients, although it is not a cure.
