Tim Curry, legendary 80-year-old actor, died on Tuesday at his residence in Los Angeles. Known worldwide for the iconic role of Dr. Frank-N-Furter in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," Curry began his career on London stages in 1968 and became an emblematic figure in cinema, theater, and television, with an extensive body of work that includes classics such as "A History of a Crime," "The Mummy," and "The Legend of Midnight." The body was found after a medical incident at his home.

Festival do Rio 2026 announces selected Brazilian films for Première Brasil; see list

The Rio Festival announced 101 selected films for the 28th edition of Première Brasil, which takes place from October 1 to 11. The projects were chosen from 1,500 feature and short films submitted.
