The city of Ceuta faces the consequences of the mass entry of thousands of people from Morocco, in a new migratory crisis that led Pedro Sánchez's executive to consider a reform of the immigration law to facilitate repatriations at the border. The Spanish government will expel to Morocco 11 of the 12 detained for ambushing a patrol. The Spanish authorities detained a total of 12 people related to the patrol attack, of which 11 will be expelled to Morocco. This situation occurs in the context of an unprecedented migratory crisis at the Spanish southern border, with Ceuta being particularly affected by the arrival of thousands of people in just a few days.

João Sousa, leader of PSD/Felgueiras, stated in an interview with Semanário de Felgueiras that the party is experiencing a moment of "very important generational renewal," managing to gather prepared and competent young people to work for the municipality. Sousa criticized socialist management for lack of strategic vision in housing, pointing out the waste of funding opportunities through the PRR, and for the slowness and poor planning of road network works, which have severely penalized traditional commerce in Felgueiras and Lixa. The leader reaffirmed PSD's commitment to building a solid alternative for the municipality's development.
