Communists return to Quinta da Atalaia to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Avante! Festival!

The Avante! Festival, an event that marks the PCP's return to political activity, takes place next weekend at Quinta da Atalaia. This edition is special because it celebrates the 50th anniversary of the festival.

The Portuguese Communist Party is the organizer of this annual event that serves as the party's political comeback. The communists thus return to Quinta da Atalaia, the traditional location of the festival.

This year's edition has as its main objective to project the future of the party, at a time when five decades since the first edition of the event are being commemorated. The celebration of 50 years marks an important milestone in the history of the Avante! Festival and the PCP.
